I am a writer, journalist and a yogi, and I also do copywriting and scriptwriting. I've traveled extensively in Indonesia, Singapore and Hong Kong, and I lived in South Africa for 8 years, from the historic 1994 elections until 2002. Africa has touched my soul deeply, and is a big part of my life… I've been practicing yoga for 17 years - I learned a unique system of yoga that my teacher called “Atlantean Yoga,” which combines Hatha yoga and the circular movements of African dance. I'm a single parent, and I have a beautiful son, Morris Thamsanqa (Good Fortune in Xhosa), Nkululeko (Freedom in Zulu) who is the greatest joy and blessing of my life…
